The Sunday school youth gather in the sanctuary with their families for the first 15-20 minutes of the Worship service, followed by Children’s time with the Minister. We then all meet downstairs for a sharing and learning time, including crafts and snacks.

Our Sunday school program is an important part of our congregation. We strive to teach our youth the Christian faith by ways of lessons, music, participation in worship and fellowship. A Smart Board has been purchased and will be used to help with the teaching of God in a new and interactive way.

The Christian Education Committee supports our Sunday school classes by assisting with special events such as Vacation Bible School, the Halloween parade and party, White Gift service during Advent Season, Palm parade during Lent, making Baptismal blankets, and many other events throughout the year.

We are pleased to offer a Nursery off the Sanctuary where parents can listen to the service with your infants/children. A volunteer will be present in the Nursery during the worship time if parents would prefer to sit with the congregation in the Sanctuary. We have a cupboard with activities to keep children busy as well as lots of toys to play with. There are also snacks and juice if needed. A bathroom with a change table is attached to the nursery room.

Our church Library is in the process of being overhauled. We have wonderful volunteers working to discard many of the older unused books and making room for over 100 new books. We also have new computer program system that makes searching and checking out books much easier. Books can be checked out for up to four weeks. We have a great selection of both fiction and non-fiction, books on religion, grieving and ministerial teachings and learning’s.

Come on in and CHECK OUT the progress, and all the changes our volunteers have made in the Library.
